Who We Are
ProReferee LLC was founded in 2009 by Jason Sholl, a former competitive soccer player and experienced referee. What began as a small effort to sell and trade referee gear at local training events soon grew into a trusted source for quality officiating equipment.

Drawing on more than 15 years of officiating experience in youth, adult, college, indoor, and professional soccer, Jason built ProReferee around one simple idea: referees deserve the same professional tools and training as the highest levels of the game. Having once worn hand-me-downs from FIFA referees and exclusive tournament kits not available to the public, he set out to make premium products accessible to all officials.

From a dining room table startup to a dedicated retail location opened in 2014, ProReferee has grown steadily by serving the needs of referees who expect more from their gear. The catalog now includes cards, whistles, uniforms, flags, bags, communication systems, and other essential accessories for semi-professional and professional referees.
