About Us
Browned Butter Babe Co. was founded by Rachel Turkal in 2022. After many years of cooking and baking for friends, to rave reviews, she finally decided to open her own food-based business.
The pandemic brought about quite a bit of change to everyone’s lives. Browned Butter Babe’s tasty sweet treats hope to soothe and feed your weary soul.
Rachel takes culinary inspiration from her roots, growing up is the southeastern US, from her current home in San Jose, CA, and the world at large.
Browned Butter Babe is currently operating as a Cottage Food Operation permitted through the County of Santa Clara. All baked good are baked in the home and have been approved by the Department of Environmental Health.
